Expertise relevant to the Forum:
Field research experience with indigenous groups in southern Africa and in Australia (total of 50 months since 1987), indigeneity, language and ethnic identity, group rights and nation state formation, history of land rights in southern Africa, revitalization of tradition, social theory of culture and social transformation.
