Expertise relevant to the Forum:
Research experience with nation state formation, nationalism, identity politics and ethnic conflicts in Spain and Latin America. Co-direction of a DFG- research project on discourses of national identity in Chile and Argentina (1750-1950) with tutelage of two PhD candidates.
